HeartMath Inc. provides 5% of revenues to the Institute of HeartMath to support research and provide HeartMath programs to the underserved, community service organizations, children, teachers, veterans and their families.
The donor-funded nonprofit 501(c)(3) Institute of HeartMath (IHM) is a research and education organization dedicated to helping people establish heart-based living and global coherence. The institute cares deeply about the physical, mental and emotional well-being of people regardless of age, belief, heritage and circumstance.

IHM's education mission focuses on products and training programs to help people self-regulate emotions and connect with the intelligence and guidance of their own hearts. IHM provides products and resilience training programs to the underserved, community service organizations such as nonprofits, schools and universities, law enforcement and first responders, government agencies, veterans and military families.
The institute also sponsors free programs for communities, students, educators, military personnel and their families and veterans.
IHM launched the Global Coherence Initiative (GCI) in 2008. GCI is a science-based, co-creative project uniting people in heart-focused care and intention. GCI and its supporters are helping to shift global consciousness from instability and discord to balance, cooperation and enduring peace.
